MYSC Community Excellence Award

Honouring one exceptional high school student who actively contributes to their community, embodying the values of good Canadian citizenship, displaying a deep understanding of civics, and consistently pursuing excellence in all areas of their academic and community endeavours.

Awarded to one graduating student enrolled at a London-area secondary school.‍

Scholarship: $500

Deadline to apply is July 15, 2025.

  • Unofficial transcript from your secondary school to confirm grade average.

  • Proof of enrolment at a Canadian post-secondary institution.

MYSC Academic Excellence Award

Sponsored by the Islamic Centre of Southwest Ontario

Recognizing the outstanding academic accomplishments and unwavering dedication of one graduating high school student who has consistently excelled in their studies, setting a remarkable example for their peers.‍

Awarded to one grade 12 student enrolled at a London-area secondary school. The recipient will have achieved the highest graduating average amongst the pool of applicants. The student must have accepted an offer of admission at Canadian post-secondary Institution. Deadline to apply is July 15, 2025.

This award was established by the Muslim Youth Social Connection and the Islamic Centre of Southwestern Ontario.

Scholarship: $500
